Packer bowlers get a split

RED WING – The Austin bowling team split a pair of matches as it lost to Byron-Kasson-Mantorville and beat Rochester John Marshall in in Red Wing Saturday.

BKM won the fifth and deciding game 163-162 against the Packers.

“Ill-timed misses on spare opportunities, along with unfortunate splits, resulted in a one-pin loss,” Austin head coach Jim Juenger said.

Austin won all five games to sweep the Rockets in the second match of the day.
