Hounds drop regular season finale

ROCHESTER — The Austin Greyhounds closed out their regular season with a 12-7 loss to the Rochester Royals Saturday.

The top-seeded Hounds (16-19 overall) will now focus on the postseason as they will host a Section 4B playoff game against the winner of Rosemount and Savage Wednesday night in Marcusen Park at 7:30 p.m.

Zach Schara hit a two-run homer and Nate Johnson added a solo homerun in the loss to Rochester.
