Kathryn Gavin, daughter of Gary and Brenda Gavin of Mankato, and Casey Reeder, son of Kevin Reeder of St. Augustine Fla., and Teresa Reeder of Glenville, proudly announce their engagement.

Kathryn is a 2009 Austin High School graduate and a 2012 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in public relations and marketing. She works as a marketing coordinator for Altrol Inc. Heating and Cooling in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Casey is a 2006 graduate of Manson Northwest Webster High School and attending American Military University for degrees in fire science and business administration. He is a staff sargeant firefighter at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska.
The couple will wed Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Augustine Church in Austin. They will reside in North Pole, Alaska.
