County board to talk safety procedures

The county board will focus on safety Tuesday.
Emergency Manage-ment/Safety Coordinator Amy Lammy will talk to the board during its 1 p.m. meeting to overview an Emergency Management evacuation exercise.
Other business:
—The board will approve or deny revisions to the telephone policy.
—The board will approve or deny revisions to the professional dress policy.
—The board will approve or deny staffing for county departments to electronically scan and index files.
—The board will approve or deny temporary staffing for the Sheriff’s office and jail to update policy manuals according to new requirements.
—Environmental Services Director Angie Knish will discuss a policy for the septic system project area.
