Blue Sox fall to Rochester Royals

ROCHESTER — The Austin Blue Sox lost to the Rochester Royals by a score of 13-11 at Mayo Field Wednesday.

Austin (0-3 overall) had runners on second and third with two outs in the top of the ninth but it couldn’t plate the tying run.

The Royals and the Blue Sox each had a six run inning in the game.

Kyal Williams, Chris May and Preston Higbe all pitched in the loss for the Blue Sox.
