Hounds drop two to Chaseburg-Coon Valley

The Austin Greyhounds lost both games of a doubleheader by scores of 6-5 and 9-4 against Chaseburg-Coon Valley in Dick Seltz Field Saturday.

“It wasn’t our best outing, but it’s good to get some games in,” Austin manager John Frein said.

Matt Raso hit a solo homerun with two outs in the seventh inning of the opener to pull the Hounds within one run, but Austin couldn’t tie the game.

Zach Schara finished 6-for-8 with 3 RBI on the day for the Hounds (6-6 overall).
