Kartes takes 15th in triple jump

ST. PAUL — Blooming Prairie senior Gabe Kartes didn’t reach the finals in the triple jump at the Class ‘A’ state track and field meet in Hamline University Friday.
Kartes finished 15th jumped a distance of 40 feet, 9.75 inches, which was a couple of feet shorter than his Section 1A distance.
