WILLMAR, MINN. — The Riverland softball team lost a pair of games to Ridgewater by scores of 7-1 and 9-1 on the road Friday.

The first game was scoreless through three innings before Ridgewater got its offense going.

RCC (3-23 overall, 3-11 MCAC South) scored its lone run in the opener when Morgan Herda doubled and scored on a double by Courtney Schnaith.

In the second game, RCC scored when Haley Underwood tripled and scored on a groundout by Sara Sundberg.
