Nancy Schwebke, 73, of Iowa Falls, died at her home on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.

Mass of the resurrection will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Mark Catholic Church in Iowa Falls with a 2:30 p.m. graveside service at the Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Fall with a 7 p.m. Vigil Service.

Nancy Katherine Schwebke was born Dec. 4, 1938, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of Lavalle and Gladys (Kennelly) Apland. She graduated from the Iowa Falls High School and was united in marriage to Kenneth Schwebke on June 11, 1957, in Parkersburg. She worked as a consultant for Ellsworth Municipal Hospital. Nancy was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church, St. Mark Sanctuary Society, Bible Study Class and the Garden Club.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Curtis Schwebke of Boulder Creek, Calif., and Stephen Schwebke (Karla) of Fairmont, Minn.; two daughters, Susan Waldee (Richard) of Austin, Minn., and Lori Mortensen of Faribault; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Judy Swartz (John) of Iowa Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kenneth.
