Tom Aase slammed home an alley-oop from Zach Wessels with two seconds left in the Section 1AAA title game, advancing the Austin Packers to the state tournament for the first time since 1982.

The No. 1 seeded Packers boys basketball team (23-5) edged New Prague (19-10) 43-41 at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester Friday night after trailing 24-21 at halftime.

This is the second win over New Prague for the Packers this season: They beat New Prague 55-32 on Dec. 1, 2011.
