Blue Devil men beat Minnesota West to close season

The Riverland men’s basketball team ended its season with an 83-78 win at Minnesota West Saturday.

The Blue Devils (12-14 overall, 4-8 MCAC South) finished one game out of the fourth playoff spot from the MCAC South as they came back from a 15-point deficit in the second half Saturday.

“We played hard and got after it until the end,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “It’s a very great way to end the season.”

Jordan Osberg had 21 points, seven rebounds, six steals and three assists for RCC and Zach Bunch had 13 points and five steals.
