Mower County Sheriff’s deputies cited 19 people and arrested two for minor consumption of alcohol after breaking up a party in rural Adams late Friday night.

Michelle Renee Mullenbach, 42, was cited for violating the social host ordinance, according to Sheriff Terese Amazi.

According to Amazi, police received a call Friday of a party southeast of Adams on 670th Avenue. When they arrived at the home, they found a party in a shack on the property. Amazi said about 20 to 30 people were there and some fled.

Officers cited Tyler Anderson, 19, of Hayfield, Lucas Barkuloo, 18, of Hayfield, Tyler Bentzin, 20, of Austin, Keith Crape, 19, of Austin, Dominique Dahmen, 18, of Austin, Robert Fenske, 20, of Dexter, Zachary Finley, 18, of Dexter, Grant Hegge, 19, of Rose Creek, Phi Ho, 20, of Austin, Michael Hoeper, 21, of Austin, Joshua Jax, 20, of Adams, Jacob Jorgenson, 18, of Hayfield, Henry Mullenbach, 19, of Adams, Taylor Mullenbach, 18, of Adams, Nicholas Poshusta, 19, of Adams, Luke Simon, 20, of Adams, Benjamin Wolterman, 19, of Adams, and two minors.

Hegge and Hoeper were arrested and taken to the Mower County jail for probation violations as well.

Amazi said this wasn’t the first time Mullenbach hosted parties with underage residents present.
