Do you support legislation that makes child abuse crimes where “substantial bodily harm” doesn't occur — like those committed by the Dexter parents who chained their child to his crib — felonies?

    bodily harm is not the only thing to consider. what about the verbal abuse and on-going fear, neglect and confusion they imposed on the children. just because there isn’t a broken bone or bruise to be seen….come on. child abuse IS child abuse.
