B. Michele Thompson, 33, of Austin, Minn., died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn., early Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013.

She was born Nov. 19, 1979 to Barbara Hubbard in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was at home in Albert Lea, Minn., until the age of 4, when she moved to Austin. She enjoyed walks with her grandpa, shopping with her grandma, balloons, reading books, watching television and having pizza and Diet Coke. While living in Austin with foster parents, Linda and Doyle Lindahl, Barbara attended school, graduating from Austin High School.
Survivors include her mother, Barbara Hubbard of Albert Lea; foster parents, Linda and Doyle Lindahl of Austin; a brother, Alan Christensen of Albert Lea; many wonderful friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by a cousin, Cpl. Curtis M. Swenson, USMC; and her grandfather, Max Swenson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation is one hour prior to the service with interment at a later date. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com. Memorials are preferred to the family.
