The boys and girls Pacelli cross country teams competed in the 20-team Stewartville Invite Thursday and while neither team had enough runners to qualify for a team score, there were some solid finishers.

Madeline Kraemer led the girls by taking 22nd place and Drew Chapek led the boys with a 46th place fi.

It was extremely hot on Thursday and our kids have not had to deal with this kind of heat in practices leading up to this meet,” Pacelli head coach Jim Parlin said. “I was proud of the fact that they put forth good efforts considering the conditions.”
