The Blooming Prairie volleyball team couldn’t finish the job as it lost at Waterville/Elsyian/Morristown (1-1 overall) by scores of 25-10, 23-25, 20-25, 25-13, 15-7 in Waterville Thursday.

BP (1-1 overall) trailed the fifth game early and couldn’t get back into it.

“In a 15 point game, (falling behind) is something that just isn’t acceptable,” BP head coach Gina McLaughlin said. “I’m pleased that we were able to push WEM to five games. Our defensive game was sharp tonight, but offensively WEM had more going for them.”
