Amy Leigh Hansen, daughter of Jerry and Vicky Hansen of Austin, and Tom Schafer, son of Jim and the late Lynnette Schafer of Austin, are proud to announce their engagement.

Amy graduated from Austin High School and is employed at Hy-Vee in Austin. Tom graduated from Austin High School and is employed by Greenman HVAC of Austin.

The couple will wed 4 p.m. Sept. 10, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin with a reception at the Holiday Inn.
