Rebecca Wichmann, daughter of Kathy and Tom Wichmann of Austin, and Michael Flaherty, son of Mary Lynn and Michael Flaherty, proudly announce their engagement.

Rebecca is a 2009 Austin High School graduate and a 2010 Riverland Community College graduate in massage therapy. She works at Massage Envy in Rochester.

Michael is a 2008 Austin High School graduate and a 2010 Riverland graduate with a law enforcement degree. He works at Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin.

The couple will wed Aug. 13, 2011, at Augustines Church in Austin.
