Michelle Meyer, daughter of Deb and Jerry Meyer of Freeport, Minn., and Alex Bumgardner, son of Jackie and Alan Bumgardner of Austin, proudly announce their marriage.

Michelle is a 2003 graduate of Melrose Area High School and 2007 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s in Nursing. She works at the Mayo Clinic as a registered nurse.

Alex is a 2002 Austin High School graduate and a 2006 Iowa State University graduate with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. He works at Austin Utilities as a power production director.

The two will wed Aug. 27, 2011 in Freeport. They will live in Austin.
