The Austin Blue Sox closed out their regular season with a 21-11 loss at Waseca Wednesday and they will now focus on the postseason.

Austin (2-13 overall) will open the double-elimination regional tournament at the Mankato Mets at Mankato East High School Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s a clean slate,” Blue Sox player/manager Josh Kunze said. “We’re going to need to win two games to advance and we’re going to try and do it.”

The Mets swept the Blue Sox during the regular season.
