The Hayfield boys basketball team lost its third straight game when it fell to Rochester Lourdes (16-6 overall, 9-2 HVL Gold) by a score of 58-44 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (14-8 overall, 5-7 HVL Gold) pulled to within five with 7:41 left in the game after Bobbie Stephens hit back-to-back threes, but that was as close as they’d get. Hayfield trailed 20-19 at the half.

“Our guys played really hard against a good team,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.
