“It really was a strong team win and I though everybody played well,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “We had a lot of energy and everyone was jacked up.”

Michael Emge led the Falcons with 21 points and 10 rebounds, but Fadness was pleased with how his team handled him.

“He hurt us on the offensive glass but we didn’t give him any threes,” he said. “We wanted to hold him under twenty-five and we did force five turnovers on him.”

Austin scoring: Joe Aase, 17; Zach Wessels, 14; Zach Fadness, 11; Tom Aase, 9; Max Coffey, 8; Andrew Kaiser, 8; Jay Ettinger, 7; Collin Weisert, 4; Golliath Oboyo, 2; field goals: 50 percent (32-for-64); three-pointers: 41 percent (12-for-29)
