John I. Ulwelling, 76

John I. Ulwelling of Perkasie, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 25,2010, at his home. He was 76.

John was the husand of Joanne M. (Day) Ulwelling. The couple had celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary on Feb.7, 2010.

Born in Austin, Minn., he was the son of the late Isidore and Genevieve (Fink) Ulwelling of Rose Creek, Minn. He graduated from Rosecreek High School in 1952.

John retired in 1997 as an electronic engineer.

An avid vegetable gardener, Mr. Ulwelling also enjoyed working on electronics. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving with his wife are a daughter: Joanne Marie Scrocca and her

husband Christopher, of Auburn, Ga.; a son: William J.Ulwelling, of Souderton, Pa.; three grandchildren: Samantha, Alexander, and Angelo; and four brothers, Robert Ulwelling and his wife Jo Anne, of Rose Creek, Minn., Paul Ulwelling, of Dexter, Minn., Donald Ulwelling and his wife Carol, of Rose Creek, Minn., and Gerald Ulwelling and his wife Betty, of Meridian, Idaho.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, where family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of the Mass.Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, Pa.
