Blaze engulfs Sargeant home

A large fire engulfed an abandoned home in Sargeant Wednesday evening when a man piled brush inside and started the blaze.

The 48-year-old man from Brownsdale, who is facing no charges, set the fire on a two-story house located at 65253 320th St. to help his father get rid of it.

The house has no insurance and was damaged heavily by the fire.

No injuries have been reported.
